How is the Prosthesis Donned and Secured?

Your comfort, well-being, body balance, and successful use of the prosthesis depend entirely on the quality of the socket.
The UABIONICS socket is custom-made for each user.
This is preceded by 3D limb scanning, providing a virtual cast without the need for plaster or hospital settings. The scan takes up to 45 minutes.

Can anyone get a bionic prosthesis under the government program?

Some categories of Ukrainians need prosthetics but, for certain reasons, cannot receive government reimbursement for a bionic prosthesis. You can join our charitable initiative and help raise the necessary funds for their prosthetics.

Yuriy K.

“UABIONICS helped with paperwork, taught me, and explained how to use it. The team is always in touch. I'm already wearing it during training. Highly recommend!"

Serhiy K.

"I doubted whether to get bionics because I feared I couldn't fix it if something went wrong. But with service in Ukraine, I'm at peace. I've been getting used to it for a month now. All good."

Dmytro F.

"State programs are usually chaotic. But here they took measurements quickly and handled all the documentation. Now I have a cool prosthesis."

Ihor L.

"It takes some time to get used to it. It’s not complicated, but you need to dedicate a little time to training. I can say with confidence that moving around has become easier. A sense of balance has returned to my body. It looks and feels quite nice to the touch. Thank you all!"

Maksym V.

"Ever since I returned home, my biggest worry has been about the kids. How they would react. When I received the prosthesis, we put it on together. The children are very happy."
